If you've read my blog, you know I have a new house with big, blank walls. I'm going through what most of my clients go through, "I have all of these photos, and all of this wall space, now what?!" So, I thought I'd post my ideas in hopes that I might inspire some of you.
It started when I got my new, beautiful canvas wrap sample of Sawyer. I shoot with Sawyer and his family three times a year and his mom, Mary, buys the digital files. Last time I shot with him, his mom hadn't printed ANY OF THE PHOTOS! (Mary ... if you're out there ... you've got to see this sample in person. You'll have to have it!).
Anyway, the sample is 20x24. Sometimes clients think a 20x24 canvas is big. But, when you see how it looks on my mantle, you'll see that it's quite small. (Now you know why I say an 8x10 is a desk print. Can you imagine an 8x10 up here!?!?)

I was originally set on a ginormous print for over my fireplace, but now I'm considering several biggish prints. Here's a wall collection of Sawyer and his beautiful parents.

Beautiful! Set a couple of candles on the mantle and it's an amazing focal point for the room. Of course there are a million different photo configurations you could create.
BTW ... I'm now sending out wall arrangement ideas with your proofing gallery!
