When I first photographed Olivia, she was just a little girl.
Fast forward ... she's graduating from high school this year! When I asked her what she wanted for her senior photos she said, "I love Christmas lights!" and I said, "Hmmmmmmm ..." Wouldn't you know, those shots are my absolute favorites. There are so many fantastic shots, but I could only choose a few to show here.

to warm your heart on a chilly morning ...
Yep. The busy season has been here for a while now and I'm really feeling it. I'm crazy busy ... shooting non-stop with a mountain of proofing to do and orders to place back at the office. So if you're waiting for your photos, please know that I'm going as fast as I can and I will have a team of people helping me soon.

Oh, Audrey. {sigh}
Audrey is an animated little girl with sunny, bouncy hair. Her mom has a keen design sense, so Audrey always comes to the shoot with a delightful outfit and a well chosen prop or two.
A few years ago, though, Audrey wasn't happy to see me. She wanted no part of photos or me. Even her sparkly wand and lunch box couldn't coax her into a bit of play during the shoot. Somehow I managed to get a lot of shots, but this one always makes me laugh. Perfect hair, streamers blowing in the breeze, but a no nonsense, "Leave me alone ... I mean business!" look on her face with a glimmer of tears in those gorgeous eyes.
Fast forward to yesterday.
Me: Audrey, are you about done taking photos?
Audrey: No! I want to take more! {giggles}
She was bouncing around, talking to squirrels, running, twirling ... doing anything I asked. It was one of those days when I think to myself, "Is this really my job?"
